But despite all the scientific advancement, Americans are sill living to just 76 years old What can we do to live a healthy life? Dr. Robert Butler, outline a few changes in his essay "How to Live a Long Healthy Life."Dr. Butler suggests for American to eat less. Reduced calories have been connected with an increase in life expectancy. Also, American should eat more fruits and vegetables. A diet rich in veggies and fresh fruits, cuts the risk of cancer in half. Lastly, American must exercise more. A lack of exercise contributes to obesity but also weak bones and decreased muscle mass as one ages. Exercising and weight lifting are quite beneficial to keeping a long healthy live.
